Steve Harper, a TV writer, playwright, producer, and actor whose work explores the intersection of storytelling and the unseen forces that shape our lives.
Steve has written for hit shows like Tracker (CBS), DC’s Stargirl (CW), God Friended Me (CBS), Tell Me Your Secrets (Amazon Prime), American Crime (ABC), and Covert Affairs (USA). His original web series, SEND ME, premiered on BET.com and earned a 2016 Emmy Nomination.
Beyond television, Steve’s plays have been performed nationwide at Juilliard, Northwestern University, and The Fire This Time Festival, and he recently won a 2023 Independent Press Award for A Few Short Plays to Save the World. His latest solo-show, SNOW: [black man. whiteout conditions.], premieres in 2025.
As the co-host of the Beyond the Script Podcast and the founder of Your Creative Life, Steve has been coaching and mentoring writers and artists since 2008, helping them bring their creative visions to life.
